Recently, there are some issues occured in Malaysia and causes the HINDRAF Rally. Well, street demonstration is never good; it will cause a number of inconvenience to other people such as traffic jams and some shops/complex will need to be closed as well! However, I do not object with the purpose of this rally since their request was not delivered properly through the proper channel which resulted the demonstration.

I have no idea why the government is so keen to demolish the temple as Malaysia is a multi-race country and each race has their own religion to believe in. We have mosque and temples; I see no valid reason to demolish any of them. Unless they’re proven to serve certain dark rituals, it is certainly normal for the mosque and temples to coexist with each other. This action really makes the country a hypocrite.

Following after the rally, the goverment had decided to use Internal Security Act(ISA) to detain 5 people behind the demonstration. This is just pure abusion of power. Why the need of ISA? They have no links with terrorism, and the rally was carried out as a result of gov rejecting their request through normal channel.

Referring the news here , the government said that the usage of ISA was demanded by people. Well, just how many “people” did they really ask? For sure, they did not ask for my opinion on this and even if they do, ISA will never be the way that I will suggest them to use.

I’m feeling less secure with the power of goverment…
