My First Web Design Job

  • Apr 3, 03:21 PM

Its been a few weeks since I started to develop a website for my current boss; creating a design from scratch to replace the old one.

Spent the first week to create the first design plus all the slice and dice to temporary host it on my computer..

“Maybe you should come up with an alternative design”.

Spent another week for the 2nd design and slapped it on my temporary server..

“The 1st design is better… the new design is quite dark.”

Revamped the 2nd design with the same layout intact on the final week…

“Its getting good. Lets wait for the other boss to look at it before we decide to use which one.”

Phew, finally, I had passed the first part of a stage. Let just hope it went smoothly for the later part as well.

btw, I’m happy with my job. Thanks for hiring me.

Dont be ‘stupid’. First, you show everything in jpeg (mokcups) – they demand changes, make them.. After they say yes, then only go through to slicing stuff..

Here’s a nice story for those starting their first ever web design project – http://geminigeek.com/blog/archives/2007/12/i-got-scammed-by-my-client/

haha…

Yeah, I get what you mean. But then, you can consider I’m a full-time web designer for them and I don’t have much work at hand so… blame my itchy hands =P
